King is currently a year-three student studying music (voice major) at Hong Kong Baptist University, under the tutelage of Miss Chan Siu Kwan. King also studies repertoire appreciation with Mr Caleb Woo. During his studies, King has received a number of scholarships, including Li Po Chun Charitable Trust Fund Scholarship, HKSAR Government Scholarship, Hong Kong Children’s Choir Scholarship and Dr. Stephen Chan Sacred Music Scholarship.

 

King actively participates in different music ensembles. He is the president of the HKBU Christian Choir; the member of Cantoría Hong Kong and Hong Kong Philharmonic Chorus. Besides, King participated in the performances of different choirs, including SingFest, Hong Kong Youth Choir, HKU Chamber Singers and Die Konzertisten.

 

香港浸會大學音樂文學士（榮譽）三年級學生，主修聲樂。師隨著名聲樂教育家陳少君女士，黃氏亦跟隨胡永正先生學習曲目研究及賞析。黃氏於在學期間獲頒李寶椿慈善信託基金獎學金、香港特別行政區政府獎學金、香港兒童合唱團獎學金及陳贊一博士聖樂獎學金。

 

黃氏熱愛合唱音樂，現為香港浸會大學基督徒詩班詩班長、浸會大學室樂合唱團成員（Cantoría Hong Kong）以及香港管弦樂團合唱團成員。此外，黃氏亦參與多個合唱團體的演出，包括聲蜚合唱節、香港新青年合唱團、HKU Chamber Singers 以及 Die Konzertisten。
